Oasis canopies participate actively in stabilizing rural populations, ensuring food security and fighting the causes of climate change. That’s why all intervening in the oasis sector are searching methods to enhance productivity inside and to ameliorate the agricultural water management techniques used. It is in this direction that we have tried to study the impact of introducing the localized irrigation system “micro-jet” inside the oases. We have presented the necessary equations permitting to conceptualize and to size this watering system and those to calculate the eventual impacts. We have considered socio economical indicators, morphological indicators and physical-bio chemical indicators

The aim of this study is to discover the factors of corporate governance having influence on environment disclosure. The study has been conducted for cement companies in Saudi Arabia. It is based on cognitive mapping techniques and the analysis has been done by using Micmac software. The result shows that most influential factors for environment disclosure in cement company are: Type of Business , Board Size, CEO Educational Qualification, Profitability, Auditors Type and Legislative factor. These factors also have a strong influence on other variables and on environment disclosure. Based on finding the researcher has made relevant recommendation to the manager of cement companies.

Diabetes mellitus is one of the metabolic disorders responsible for numerous abnormalities and ailments. The treatment\'s synthetic drugs have come up with several side effects and toxicities reported from time to time. Researchers are now focusing on natural origin drugs having exceptionally better results and very few side effects. Carica papaya, a sub-tropical plant from the family Caricaceae, is widely recognized for its nutritious value and antioxidant activities. In recent years this ethnomedicinal plant is heavily explored for its antidiabetic activities. In this review work, we have addressed the antidiabetic activities and invitro and invivo exploration, pre-clinical evidence of this plant as an effective therapeutics and natural medicine for diabetes mellitus from the year 1990-2020.

This study investigate the innovation employment nexus in a panel of 8 Asian economies within the framework of a panel cointegration methodology. Panel unit root tests showed that the variables employed in the estimation were I(0) processes validating the use of cointegration. Employing the Breusch and Pagan LM test, the Pesaran, Ullah and Yamagata bias-adjusted LM test and the Pesaran CD test, the hypothesis of residual cross-section independence could not be rejected. Employing the Pedroni panel cointegration method the hypothesis of no long run relationship between employment rates, r&d expenditures per GDP, gross fixed capital formation, real gross minimum wages and real GDP was rejected.The Pooled mean group estimation, mean group estimation and the dynamic fixed effects model were employed to obtain the short-run values and the long run equilibrium values within a linear and non-linear specification. While the linear specification produced mixed results, the non-linear specification indicated a U shaped non-linear relationship between r&d and employment with a local minimum at about the 75th percentile of the r&d data range. Finally, policy implications from findings where provided in this study.

Waiting time in a service industry seems to be unavoidable, most especially at the airport that experienced delay as a result of check-in, screening and some other activities. This experience of waiting sometimes could become irritating and annoying to the customers and thus affects their evaluation of the service provider and consequent effect on their loyalty. Our study examined the influence of waiting time satisfaction and the use of self-service technology on the sustainability of customer loyalty. 750 structured questionnaires were administered to travellers at Turkish international airport and Sabiha Gocken international airport, both in Turkey. PLS-SEM was employed for the model analysis with the use of SmartPLS3 for the data processing. Our findings reveals that the role of waiting time satisfaction and the use of self-service technologies are significant on the sustainability of customer loyalty, and, in addition found waiting time satisfaction to partially mediates the relationship between the use of self-service technology and sustainable customer loyalty. The managerial implications, as well as the suggestion for further studies were discussed.

Sulphur is essential nutrient for the growth and development of groundnut. High yield of good quality is possible only when crop have access to optimum amount of sulphur. Gypsum is used in oilseed crops as it is necessary for pod formation and its deficiency can abort the seed and improperly filled pods. The current study was evaluated the importance of oilseed and effect of sulphur and gypsum on yield, quantity and quality of groundnut. Two groundnut genotypes viz., ICGU-7326 (spreading type), 02CG002 (bunch type), with three sulphur levels (0, 15, 30 Mg ha-1) and three gypsum levels i.e. 0, 200, and 250 Mg ha-1 were used. The experimental design was a randomized complete block design having three replications. Maximum number of pegs/pods per plant, biological/seed yield, sulphur uptake and linolenic acid were produced by cultivar ‘ICGU-7326’. However, maximum number of seed, 100-seed weight, oil content, palmitic acid, stearic acid and oleic acid was obtained by cultivar ‘02CG002’. Sulphur and gypsum application enhanced the oil content and saturated fatty acids (palmitic and stearic acid) and reduced the linolenic acid over control plot. In conclusion, the sulphur application (30 Mg ha-1) and gypsum (250 Mg ha-1) was found to be most effective for improving the quality of groundnut under rainfed region, Punjab-Pakistan.

The objective of this study was to determine the effect of different sowing dates on fatty acids composition and oil quality factors of Virginia type peanut variety (Halisbey) grown in Cukurova region. This study was conducted in 2018 and 2019 at the experimental area of the Cukurova University, Faculty of Agriculture in Adana-Turkey. The seeds were sown at seven different dates such as 28 March, 8 April, 18 April, 28 April, 8 May, 18 May and 28 May in each two years. The experiment was designed a randomized complete block design with three replications. The plants were harvested 160 days after sowing beginning of 8 September in both years. Oil content, fatty acids composition such as oleic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid, stearik acid, palmitic acid, arachidic acid, behenic acid and oil quality factors like Oleic/linoleic acid ratio (O/L) and iodine number (IV) of peanut seed were investigated.\n According to a two-year average, the differences between the sowing dates were significant for the oil content, oleic, linoleic, palmitic, stearic and linolenic acids percentage and O/L ratio of peanut grown at different sowing dates. The results indicated that the data belonging to oil content (43.59-48.04%), oleic (53.09-55.35%), linoleic (26.20-27.61%), arachidic (1.37-1.52%) and behenic (2.42-2.82%) acids percentage and O/L ratio (1.92-2.12) were increased when the sowing date was delayed. On the other hand, palmitic (9.49-10.30%), stearic (2.59-3.06%) and linoleic (0.44-0.59%) acids percentage and IV value (92.99-94.46) was decreased with delayin of sowing date.

The yellow passion fruit is usually propagated by seeds, even though, cutting of elite clones can standardize and increase the fruit yield and quality. A more efficient multiplication would benefit from the use of the most propagules collected from mother plants in protected conditions. The experiment was carried out in a greenhouse in the municipality of Cruz das Almas, Bahia State, Brazil. Cuttings with one and two nodes were evaluated for the propagation of the yellow passion fruit in sand, vermiculite, sand mixed with vermiculite, coconut coir, composted pine bark and phenolic foam. The cuttings were disinfested or not with sodium hypochlorite solution. The experimental design was completely randomized in 2 x 6 x 2 factorial scheme with 18 replications. Double-nodes cuttings that were cultivated in vermiculite and treated with sodium hypochlorite showed higher percentage of survival (86%), although not differing from cuttings with one (67%) and two (72%) nodes without hypochlorite. The disinfestation did not influence the growth and the survival rate of the cuttings. The percentage of rooting of single-node cuttings (42%) was lower in relation to double-node cuttings (68%), but the same mother plant produce a 10% higher number of total rooted cuttings for the former. The propagation of the yellow passion fruit by single-node cutting in vermiculite is a promising practice in the nursery.

Sustainable agriculture is an integrated system based on ecological principles. In this system, instead of using external inputs such as chemical fertilizers and pesticides, plant residues, manure, organic and biologic fertilizers and biological pest control are used to store food in the soil, control weeds and pests and increase biodiversity in farms. In this regard, in the present study, the qualitative traits of Solanum tuberosum cultivar were studied under the influence of chemical, manure and biological fertilizers. This study was conducted as a factorial experiment of complete randomized blocks in three replications in the agricultural years of 2017 and 2018 in the research farm of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Islamic Azad University, Hamadan Branch. The first factor was urea fertilizer + manure at five levels and the second factor was tuber inoculation with biological fertilizers at four levels. Examination of the mutual effects showed that the lowest amount of nitrate in the first year (36.67 mg / kg) is the result of interaction (33% nitrogen + 66% manure) × Pseudomonas, in the second year (20.59 mg / kg) the interaction 100% was manure × Azospirillum. Also, the highest percentage of protein (7.99%) in the first year related to the interaction (66% nitrogen + 33% manure) × Pseudomonas and in the second year (7.05%) related to the interaction of 100% manure× (Azospirillum + Pseudomonas), the highest percentage of starch (19.76%) related to the interaction effect of treatments (33% nitrogen + 66% manure) × (Azospirillum + Pseudomonas) and the highest performance of the protein (1861.60kg/ha) is dedicated to interaction (66% nitrogen+33% manure) ×Pseudomonas. Although the impact of biological fertilizers, especially Pseudomonas, on potato traits has been shown, but overall results have shown that biologic fertilizers alone cannot replace chemical fertilizers, and achieving a sustainable agricultural system requires integrated fertilization

Using biofertilizers in crop cultivation is one of the methods to reduce the consumption of chemical inputs, the results of which include increasing the quality and stability of plant performance. In this regard, in the present study, quantitative potato traits of Solanum tuberosum were studied under chemical, manure and biological fertilizers. This study was conducted as a factorial experiment in fully randomized blocks in three replications in the agricultural 2017 and 2018 in the research farm of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources of Islamic Azad University of Hamadan Branch. The first factor (urea fertilizer + manure) in five levels includes: 1) not using fertilizer, 2) 100% urea fertilizer, 3) 66% urea fertilizer + 33% manure, 4) 33% urea fertilizer, 66% manure , 5) 100% manure and the second factor was tubers inoculation with biological fertilizers at four levels: 1) non-consumption of bacteria, 2) Azospirillum, 3) pseudomonas and 4) Azospirillum + pseudomonas. By using biological fertilizers, the best result was shown by Pseudomonas in tubers unit weight (1.33 g / cm3), dry weight of shoots in flowering stage (62.600 g) and physiological control (83.49 g). Although the impact of biological fertilizers, especially Pseudomonas has been shown on potato traits, the general results show that biological fertilizers alone cannot replace chemical fertilizers, and achieving a sustainable agricultural system requires an integrated fertilization

BACKGROUND\nA new mixed nano-micelle, doxorubicine (Dox)-loaded pluronic P123/poly (ethylene glycol) 2000-distearoylphosphatidylethanolamine nanomicelles mixed micelles (P123-PEG2000-DSPE(Dox)) were developed to investigate the reversal effects of nanoformulations on breast carcinoma (BC) multidrug resistance (MDR).\n\nAIM \nTo investigate the reversal effects of nanoformulations on breast carcinoma multidrug resistance.\n\nMETHODS\nThe P123-PEG2000-DSPE(Dox) mixed micelles were prepared and then was characterized by the physicochemical parameters with dynamic light scattering method, drug release profile, and antineoplastic activity including dynamic light scattering method, MTT, immunofluorescence, Western blot and Annexin V-PI in BC MCR-7 cells and MCF-7R, a BC drug resistant cell line. \n\nRESULTS\nP123-PEG2000-DSPE(Dox) reversed drug resistance with a better effect than PEG2000DSPE(Dox) in the cells via suppressing the expression of MDR1 and p-gp, decreasing drug efflux and increasing cellular endocytosis. Furthermore, for the Dox-loaded groups, the cytotoxicity of P123-PEG2000-DSPE(Dox) was better than PEG2000-DSPE(Dox) and better than Dox. However, PEG2000-DSPE and P123-PEG2000-DSPE, the empty drug carriers, had no cytotoxicity. \n\nCONCLUSION \nThese findings indicated that P123-PEG2000-DSPE(Dox) micelles can effectively reverse drug resistance for BC cells, which is a promising antitumor drug delivery system.

Introduction: Health tourism defines as the travel of people to another country for the purpose of obtaining medical treatment in that country. Having valuable information can introduce the indigenous medicinal plant species to tourists, support the users by providing several guidance and suggestions upon traditional medicinal plants for curing various diseases, and also it reduces dangers associated with use/misuse of these herbal plants.\nAim: To determine the data requirements for designing Iranian medicinal plants information system to development of medical tourism.\nMethod: By reviewing the literature, a list of information requirements was provided in 4 sections in order to arrive at a consensus about the data elements, the decision Delphi technique was applied using questionnaires.\nResults: In the second round of Delphi, it was revealed that a set of 71 data elements for use in Iranian medicinal plants information system for medical tourism. These data elements were classified into 5 main categories including plant features, use items, regional features, picture, and order.\nConclusion: The botanical valuable information can help the tourists know the indigenous medicinal plant species, pharmacognosists know the correct identity of the plants they study, the medical users know the correct formulations, and the conservationists know which plants to conserve.
